Having read law at Cambridge and qualified as a media lawyer, Hilary Strong jumped ship into the emerging world of independent TV production and helped to shape the commercial reality of what is now a multibillion pound industry.

Hilary has over 35 years’ experience in both the commercial and creative aspects of programme making, executive producing, and commercial strategy.  As CEO of the Anthology Group, CEO of Acorn Productions and Group Commercial Director for Hat Trick Productions, she worked on shows as wide ranging as Father Ted, Have I Got News for You and ITV’s Poirot.

As CEO for Agatha Christie Ltd, Hilary transformed the Christie brand into a modern global multi-platform force across feature film and TV, publishing, stage and digital platforms. She has now taken her model for doing so and founded International Literary Properties (ILP), a global company that is acquiring literary estates with a view to reinventing them for contemporary TV, film, theatre and podcast audiences. ILP has 3 feature films, 15 TV shows, several podcasts and a theatre show in development.

    Tickets are £15 & include tea/coffee, juice & breakfast.
